Poorly run establishment. It was my first time to try the new Somboon since it reopened. I frequented it under the previous owner. I just ordered a meal and was told it would take 20 minutes but could be 30. When I arrived 30 minutes later, they had no record of my order. The lady at the register was very sweet, but evidently, one of the male servers that took my phone order neglected to tell anyone. I’ve had places get orders wrong but never this. I’m sure I’ll give them another chance but this was a bad start.
Update: Food came out at 6:45. Was good but not worth the wait.
Food was excellent and service was outstanding!!! Their new manager, Andy, has stepped this place up to whole new level! Everything was fresh and the egg rolls are made from scratch! Truly a hidden gem with truly authentic Thai food! Highly recommend to anyone in the area!
Just had lunch for the first time at this wonderful Thai restaurant. The food is amazing, the staff was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming back again.
Called and ordered take out at 6pm, was told it'd be 20 minutes. Cool. I show up right at 6:20 and get told it'll be another 15-20 minutes. If you're running behind in the kitchen, let me know a more realistic time to begin with. I'd have left later.
Great Thai food. Both my wife and I like it a lot. The fresh rolls are a great appetizer. Service is a little slow, but the food is made fresh so I understand why.
