I always try to eat at Newk's when I come down south. The food is great, the atmosphere is nice enough, and the workers are friendly. If you haven't tried it, it's a great lunch spot!
We stopped at Newks on our road trip. It was the most welcoming place. Menu has good options. Its good to have 1/2 + 1/2 or whole + 1/2 choices instead of just 1. The food was just the right quantity. Good taste.
Was looking forward to good food, instead horrible food, horrible service. The staff were extremely rude and disrespectful. They acted like they were doing us a favor, they didn't fill our order correctly and the food was uneatable. A HUGE waste of money and time.
Just moved to town, from Florida. I go to Newk’s 3 Nights a week for lunch or dinner there and tried this location for it being my new move. Ordered what I always order and I swear those employees must hate me or something. My shrimp Poboy was beyond pathetic. I have never been so disappointed and considering never eating here again. I just... I don’t understand. 4 of the tiniest pieces of shrimp, one only being a piece of tail so I guess that would make it 5 and an almost browned piece of lettuce. Fantastic.
We, my wife and I, love Newk's. We stop here when we get into town for a delicious pizza, sandwich or salad. All are excellent and the service is fast and friendly.
