First off, I just moved here from out of state and I understand that its difficult to find a good and trustworthy mechanic. I've gone to these guys a couple of times for an oil chance which they did a good job on. On the last occasion, I walked in and stated that I needed and oil change and my breaks replaced. Caught a cab home and Rich (Front desk guy) called me a couple of hours later telling me that my cost would be around $2,200. I made them aware that I didn't want any work done other then the oil changed by that point. I caught a cab back to the shop, and asked specifically, "can you show me whats going to cost that much money?" He stated, "Well, you cant see it because of where its at." Which makes me wonder how he saw it and if he did see something, why couldn't he prove it to me. Listen, i don't mind spending money at all if it something that you can show me is clearly defective but not being able to prove that theirs malfunctions with my vehicle and I'm just suppose to trust you for $2,200 is ludicrous. After I left, I took my truck to another automotive shop (Meineke) down the street, and they quoted $800 dollars and were able to show me what my discrepancies were and were able to complete the task at hand with no problems. I have extreme heartburn over scenarios like this where the customer doesn't understand mechanics and has rely on "professional" individuals they don't know to help them with what they're paying for. Again, money is not the problem but reliability, integrity and honesty is my main concern. I hope your able to learn a lesson from this and look everyone in the eye and do your best for them as well they should do for you. Life is hard enough as it is just trying to get through work and raise a family but it makes it that much harder when your A to B ride cost an astronomical amount of money to get fixed which you use everyday, just to live! My apologies for the bad review, but you earned it because i'm certainly not doing this because i enjoy it.

DO NOT go here For any type of warranty service OR if you have ANY out of state registration, phone number or drivers license. They will not follow basic instructions by customer to call the warranty company beforehand for the steps required to be able to be reimbursed for diagnostic time. IF YOU DEPEND ON THEIR EXPERTISE BE PREPARED TO PAY OUT OF POCKET NO MATTER WHAT KIND OF WARRANTY YOU THINK YOU HAVE.

My father took my vehicle here to see why my Jeep wasn't running right. They quoted an $800 dollar repair estimate and told me it would be a day or two. We were down on vacation and was promised no more than two days. Four days passed and it was finally ready, and the problem wasn't fixed. My father spent $800 for nothing. We ended up having to trade the Jeep in for a different vehicle before driving 1100 miles home. I won't go near this place again and will not recommend that anyone else does.
